County Champs - Weekend 3 - Braunstone

Well another exciting weekend at the county champs, and boy oh boy, we're going to need a truck to bring back the medals from this one, an amazing weekend! We scored more medals this weekend than the whole of last years championships.  

 

Carys was epic as usual, Dan O' picked up from where he left off and nailed a mildands time in the 50m back and gold. Other highlights include Jamie Kettles first championship title in the 50m Breast with MQT in the 100, super stuff and goes to show if you don't need to be winning at 10 years old to in the end become a superstar! The 1-2-3 podium lockout in the boys 14's fly Joel, Tom and Josh was sweet this time as it was the last two years! 

 

First time medallists this time were the mega Sam Munroe in 50m Breast and Free, well done young man, Macy Norton with two great Breaststroke swims, Will Parsons with a belting effort in the 100m Fly and diddy captain Will Beasley doubling up in the fly events - well deserved! Stephen Farrell picking up two sprint medals, one of the most natural sprinters we've got in the team. Not to mention Andy Mackay at the ripe old age of 146 picking up a Bronze with a solid 50m Backstroke!
