East Midlands Water Polo - 9th June report!

We've been asked to pass our thanks to all coaches, referees and table officials and others who helped and to the teams who were well ordered which helped the event run smoothly.All games were, compared to some events, relatively close (within 4 goals) which was encouraging. All teams got at least one point and Northampton had their first win.
However South Derbys and Hinckley were somewhat ahead of the rest and the game between them (3-2) was the best game of the day, possibly ranked second by the last game between Northampton & Leander (4 û3), though the standard of play between the two games was substantial.
The next event is at Grantham on 30th June (1.00 û 4.00pm) and is the one re-arranged from 24th March.
