Hinckley swimmers have enjoyed some absolutely fantastic swims at the 2012 Midland Age Group Championships with:
Georgia Petch competing in 14 Year old 100m Backstroke, 200m Breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley, & Girls 4x100m Freestyle Relay Team;
Ryan Gordon competing in 13 Year old 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle, 100m and 200m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke, 100m and 200m Butterfly, 200m and 400m Individual Medley & Boys 4x100m Medley Relay;
Rhys Chiles competing in 12 Year old 200m Breaststroke, & 200m and 400m Individual Medley;
Josh Munroe competing in 11 Year old 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle, 100m and 200m Backstroke, & 200m and 400m Individual Medley;
Tom Ryan competing in 11 Year old 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle, & 200m and 400m Individual Medley;
Harry Puffett competing in 11 Year old 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle, 100m and 200m Backstroke & 400m Individual Medley;
Chloe Parker-Mead competing in 10 Year old 100m & 200m Breaststroke.
Finalists included Ryan Gordon (200m Butterfly), Josh Munroe (200m Individual Medley), Tom Ryan (200m Freestyle), and Harry Puffett (200m Backstroke).
Individual Top 10 finishes from:
Ryan Gordon, 100m Butterfly (2nd) & 200m Butterfly (5th in Final);
Josh Munroe, 100m Backstroke (5th), 200m IM (7th in Final), 200m Backstroke (10th), & 100m Freestyle (10th);
Tom Ryan, 200m Freestyle (5th in Final), 400m IM (5th), 400m Freestyle (6th), 100m Freestyle (6th), & 200m IM (10th);
Harry Puffett, 200m Backstroke (3rd in Final), 100m Backstroke (4th), 100m Freestyle (8th=), & 400m Freestyle (9th).
A number of PBs as well! So Well done to Georgia, Ryan, Rhys, Josh, Tom, Harry and Chloe for the great results. This has been an exciting time for Hinckley Swimmers and maybe just maybe we'll increase the number of swimmers attending the 2013 Midland Age Groups.
