Sad announcement

Hinckley Swimming Club are sad to announce that our dear friend Colin Holden passed away this morning.

Colin was a life member and past president, he was a committed and dedicated swimmer, water polo player and coach.

 

He was a huge part of the club for close to thirty years and was instrumental in it's development and success.

 

Colin was a key part of the team who successfully lobbied the local authority to provide a new leisure centre that would

benefit swimming and water polo for the Hinckley Area and it is so said that he will not see his dream come to fruition.

 

Our heartfelt thoughts are with Sue, Chris and Richard at their loss of a very special person who was loved and respected by all.

 

He will be missed by many but remembered by even more.
