It with great sadness that we hear that Susan Taylor lost her life yesterday while swimming the channel in aid of charity. Susan got in to trouble with only 1 mile to the French coast and was airlifted to hospital but sadly passed away.

Susan was a member of the club for many years, during which time she competed for the club in galas and open meets and became the clubs swim captain. She recently re-joined as part of her preparation for her swim.

Our thoughts are with her family who have asked for privacy at this sad time and that any donations are sent through her fundraising web pages.
