Last Chance Saloon Entries for Hinckley Swimmers

Please find our entry form link for Hinckleys Last Chance Saloon County Qualifier. This is an event for swimmers to gain qualifying times in January and Februarys Leicestershire ASA County Champs.

£5 per event or £6 for the 800m or 1500m if ran
The Last Chance Saloon Meet will replace all Main Pool Sessions on Sunday 2nd December
I will submit 2 batches of entries. 1st one for all entries received up until midnight on Tuesday 13th November and the 2nd one for all entries received up until 9pm on Monday 19th November. The Meet is on a first come first serve basis so if you don’t act quick and get your entry in by Tuesday 13th you may miss out.

Q: Who is the event for?
A: All 2009 or older born swimmers who have not yet gained a Qualification time for the 2019 Leicestershire county championships. Details and Qualifying times for the County Champs are on their website here Please note the QTs are based on your Age on 31/12/19 and not this year. The County Champs are Hinckley Swimming Clubs most important event of the year and all swimmers who are in competitive training sessions should aim to qualify
Q: How do I know whether I have the qualifying time?
A: All times must have been achieved at a Level 4 event or above that publishes its times on the Rankings website and must be swims from 1/1/18 The Swim Rankings website is here https://www.swimmingresults.org/12months/
Q: How many events should I enter?
A: This is up to you, however please don’t overdo it. Look at where the swimmer is close to achieving a time in an event and the look at the events where they are in the programme. I will gladly offer advice on events, please come and see me on Sunday, or if you don’t see me drop me an email
Q: We already have Consideration Times, will we get in Counties with those?
A: LASA will do its best to get as many Leicestershire swimmers who have achieved consideration times into the county Champs, but this will depends on numbers of swimmers entering
Q: My child has not been in the club long, should they enter?
A: Yes, providing they are old enough, in a Main Pool session and can do the stroke within the rules then they should, Please speak to me and I will give you advice on what to enter.
