A picture says a 1000 words.....
Amazing job today from our team. Coming home 3rd in the competition, some great gutsy swimming all the way through the team.
Anyhow thanks to all these people that contributed:
- Darryl Ryan for organising the team
- Justin and Clare for team managing
- Paul & John for being coaches
- John for sorting the swimmers kit. Somehow we didn't win the best dressed team, although we were clearly robbed. Not bitter, honest. John would also like to thank Sue for prodding the suppliers early on.
- All the reserve swimmers that came to support the team; Josh Ward, Megan Hodges, Jess Reid, Hisham Alkahemesi, Rhiannon Chiles, as well as Isabelle Ward and our Red team captain hero JK.
- Angie for getting an amazing array of sweets and sugar for the kids, and big kids to go home with!
- The parents who supported the kids on the day!
- Thanks to all the coaches that put the hours in to make it happen, its taken a good 5-6 years of hard work to get here, and for those who've been with the club for a while, it feels very good indeed.
Like we said at the start, all the kids put it in tonight and each and everyone were fantastic. Great job, next up club champs and Arena League.
